On this webinar Olivia Baldock-Ward will be joined by Tor Walmsley of Mindful Moments UK, a qualified teacher in MBSR as listed on the UK Mindfulness Teachers Network (BAMBA) and adheres to the Good Practice Guidelines.
Tor has empathy for the perils of a driving instructor’s life as her partner is an ADI. Tor suffered from depression and anxiety herself many years ago and so she knows there can be ways of helping to manage this, and especially in difficult times as we’re in now.
This session will cover:
- Being present and in the moment
- Finding stability at this time of instability
- Helping the mind focus on the now to help deal with anxieties
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we’re doing. It can be most effective when we practice being mindful on a daily basis. So in these uncertain times, practising being mindful may help to stop your mind racing ahead and help to reduce the feelings of anxiety. We cannot promise what individuals will get out of this session as it is personal to everyone, but join in and give it a try.
