Theory test preparation:
To help you prepare for the fleet theory test, we have provided some topics to read and research in the ‘additional resources’ section. In addition to this, we have also provided example questions for you to answer. As the mock questions are different to the actual theory test questions, you can look at these ahead of the course and research the answers. When you sit your actual fleet theory test, it will be under exam conditions and you will have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete it.
We have provided some areas for you to research, more information can be found on this in the theory test section.
Award in Vehicle Knowledge:
This is a home-learning course designed to test your knowledge of aspects of vehicle mechanics and technology.
As a fleet trainer, you may be required to conduct training in the customer’s vehicle and even offer a demonstration drive where appropriate, and so having a good grounding of vehicle knowledge is essential as you could be delivering training, and even driving, a variety of makes and models.
